As a member of Unley Concert Band, I was privileged to be able to participate in the Last Post ceremony on three consecutive nights in mid April as part of the marching band's tour of Belgium and France for Anzac Day. The ceremony was a very moving experience for all in the band. Thank you to the association for allowing us to play in what was a very important, emotional weekend and for maintaining this very moving commemoration for so many years. Lest we forget.

In march of 2009. i went on a tour of the Canadian battle fields withs my school, and one thing that took place while we were in Ieper was that we went to the Menin Gate, we layed some flowers in memory of the fallen, and it was very emotional, but something happed when the ceremony was done, we saw a Veteran there, who was with his sons, we took it apond our selfs to go over and say thank you. we were all really emotional, and we were happy. i am an army cadet soo this is especialy emotional for me, i take part in many ceremonies. But this one was by far the most amazing and emotional, i have a goal to come back to see more, and to learn more, lest we forget!

The most moving experience of my visit. I will never forget it, my father, as a young soldier spent time here. Thankfully he came home. May Talbot House remain for ever.

My Grandfather survived 3 and 1/2 years as a Prisoner of War after Ypres. No doubt he lost many comrades. His now 85 year old daughter (my Aunt) on her first trip to Belgium and France and I attended early this month. Very moving. Even writing this is bringing tears to my eyes. I wear your memorial pin proudly and will never forget.
