Comment I first came to the Gate little more than a schoolboy. The experience literally changed my life. There was just 12 people there for the ceremony that night - I found I was the only British person present. As my tears fell, I swore I would not let them be forgotten. Exactly 30 years on now, I bring school groups as a guide to tell their story. The Menin Gate ceremony always marks the end to our trip and my students, a few among hundreds there now each night, lay their own wreath. They take home their memories and a single soldier's name, their soldier to think of on Remembrance Day and when times are hard - they are not forgotten, thank-you for keeping this going!

Comment When I grow up I want to be a pilot in the Royal New Zealand Air Force. At my school the top English group is making a film on the WW1. For all of those who died in the war may they rest in peace.
