CWGC will replace name panels

Work will commence on 7 May 2012 to replace the name panels at section 34 of the Menin Gate Memorial. During the works access to the panels at section 34 and the adjacent sections 32, 30 and part of 22 will not be possible.

However, during working hours, and if feasible, the public will be allowed closer access to an inscription on request to the foreman on site. Outside the working hours, only access to panels 30 and 32 will be possible. Access to the gallery will still be possible via the south east entrance as marked on site. The works will take about 5 weeks.
